Tony MARKOU (1981-82 )
Tony was a very skillful central midfield player who scored on his debut in the 3-6 defeat by Bethune. He was very moody and thought that he was the only
player on the pitch that was trying. He was! Very trying indeed. I think he scored acouple more goals before slowly disappearing from the scene.
Paul MITCHELL (1996 )
"Sparky" the Clown only played only one game in goal for the Club and was so disgusted with his performance that he
apologised and said that he would NEVER let us down again. He promptly walked out of the changing room and wa never seen again. The game was a 1st leg game against Travellers. We were 5-1, but a series of bloopers by poor old
Sparky allowed them to level the game 5-5. This was compounded by the 2nd leg defeat where we lost 1-5. A shame really, because he was one of the best 5-a-side 'keepers around.
